New Study on Soy, Breast Cancer & Improved Survival Rates

The American Institute of Integrative Oncology reported on a study conducted at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and published in January of 2024 - "Soy Intake Linked to Improved Survival in Breast Cancer"

"Researchers concluded that soy isoflavones were associated with a 26% reduced risk of breast cancer recurrence among post-menopausal women breast cancer survivors. The most significant results were realized at 60 milligrams per day."

Its always good to see new studies and data on the controversial topics. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer the conventional doctors and nutritionists told me not to eat any soy, I was naturally concerned. I am finally delighted to see good information openly available.

Now you know you can safely enjoy tofu, tempeh, miso, soymilk, edamame, etc. Just be sure to purchase soy products that are organic, or at least non-GMO, for the healthiest option.
